How To Build DIY Solar Panels with Pop-Cans

Solar panels are very important to heat up the interiors of your home. This can be very helpful especially if the wind spreading inside the house is too cold for you to handle. Now the big question is, do you know that you can now make your own solar panels? Yes, DIY solar panels are now possible to be made on your own. This will be a good alternative if you do not want to spend some of your hard earned money for solar panels that are being sold today. How to make DIY solar panels then? Well, check out below:

The very first thing you need to do is collect some pop cans. These can be soda cans or beer cans (the empty one, of course). These are very important materials in making your own solar panel. Of course, you must get those cans that are made from aluminum materials. Make small fins on top the cans. Make a star form on the top, and remove all the free parts. In removing these parts however, be sure to make use of pliers because removing them with your bare hands will certainly injure you. Create 3 holes on the can with the use of a nail.

The next thing you have to do is attach all the cans together using glue or adhesive silicone. The glue or adhesive silicone should be able to stand high temperatures. After this, you must make a template that will serve as solar pipe support. After making a template, get the glued cans and secure them there using a jar rubber. Next is make a solar panel box. This is where you must put your own-made solar panel. You can actually use wood or aluminum in making such box. After that, you must get a paint and have a stroke on the solar absorber. The solar panel must then be covered with plexiglass.

That's all you need to do to have your own solar panel.
